Description
Heat-resistant and frost-resistant Edding 8014 is recommended for laboratory use. It withstands temperatures from -183 °C to +500 °C and is designed for marking smooth and transparent surfaces. The ink is quick-drying, smudge-resistant, abrasion-resistant, lightfast, without added toluene/xylene.
This marker is permanent on plastics. Removable from glass with acetone, ethanol, isopropanol, and methylethylketone.
Edding 8014 differs from Edding 8015 in line width, as it has a thicker tip (round with a line width of 1 mm).
Certified by the Association for Technical Product Control in Germany - TÜV Saarland (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein), where the marker was tested and confirmed: extreme abrasion resistance, high temperatures on aluminum up to 500 °C, and low temperatures down to -183 °C in liquid nitrogen.
Recommended by Clariant, one of the leading global specialty chemicals companies, for its laboratories.
