Description
Heat-resistant and frost-resistant Edding 8015 (like Edding 8014) is recommended for laboratory use. It withstands temperatures ranging from -183 °C to +500 °C and is designed for marking smooth and transparent surfaces. The ink is quick-drying, smudge-resistant, abrasion-resistant, lightfast, and free from added toluene/xylene.
Like Edding 8014, this marker is permanent on plastics. It is removable from glass with acetone, ethanol, isopropanol, and methyl ethyl ketone.
Edding 8015 differs from Edding 8014 in line width. Edding 8015 is intended for extra fine marking (round tip with a line width of 0.75 mm).
Certified by the Association for Technical Product Control in Germany - TÜV Saarland (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein), with the marker tested and confirmed for: extreme abrasion resistance, high temperatures on aluminum up to 500 °C, and low temperatures down to -183 °C in liquid nitrogen.
Recommended by Clariant, one of the world's leading specialty chemicals companies, for their laboratories.
