Description
Thread lockers are used to prevent the spontaneous loosening of threaded connections. Some Loctite thread lockers are extremely strong, while Loctite 221 is low-strength – it secures the thread but can still be manually disassembled at any time after curing. The low-strength thread locker Loctite 221 is suitable for threads that are frequently handled, for example, due to inspections of machine components and similar tasks. Loctite 221 cures in the gap without access to air after application. Use Loctite 221 for securing adjusting screws, small threaded connections, and similar applications. It has a temperature resistance of up to 150 °C.
