The Loctite 2400 thread locker is a medium strength product that secures and seals threads. Thread locking products are particularly important in industry, as spontaneous loosening of screws can cause significant problems. The lock compounds cure in the thread gap and secure it against loosening while also providing sealing. Loctite 2400 is primarily intended for threads that need to be disassembled frequently. A major advantage is its good resistance to elevated temperatures, up to 150 °C, as well as its resistance to common chemicals. We recommend using Loctite 2400 primarily on metal threads and screws.
