Description
The unconventional thread locker Loctite 248 in the form of a wax stick. This anaerobic fastener and also a sealant cures just like liquid sealants in the gap without air access between matched metal surfaces. The application is very easy, applied directly using the applicator stick. The advantage is that the wax holds well in place and does not run like liquid sealants without thixotropic properties. The locking wax achieves the same strength as classic thread lockers. We recommend using Loctite 248 on metal components, especially in cases where liquid sealants fail for various reasons.
