Description

The Loctite 262 thread locker permanently secures and seals threaded connections. This medium strength thread locker prevents loosening of the thread after curing. Loctite 262 cures in the gap between two metal surfaces without access to air. Once fully cured, it ensures medium strength fastening of the screw in the thread. Loctite 262 is resistant to vibrations, shocks, and other mechanical movements that can be detrimental to threads. Specific applications include securing and sealing screws in a bolt. A significant advantage is its thixotropic nature, which prevents Loctite 262 from running off the application site.
