Description
Wax threadlockers are used wherever it is not possible to conveniently use liquid threadlockers for some reason. For example, they cannot be used due to high runniness, low resistance, and so on. A major advantage of the Loctite 268 locking wax is its structure and easy application – once applied to the thread, it does not run anywhere and can be dosed evenly. The high-strength Loctite 268 cures just like other liquid threadlockers directly in the gap between metal mating parts. Loctite 268 provides high resistance and strength, is resistant to vibrations and shocks, as well as cracking and temperatures up to 150 °C.
