The Loctite 431 instant adhesive is particularly suitable for acidic surfaces, such as chrome-plated or galvanized metals. Its special formulation achieves very good results in this case, providing a strong and durable bond. However, Loctite 431 can also be used universally, being particularly strong on porous materials such as wood, paper, cork, leather, or fabric. The bond reaches handling strength within 10 seconds and then cures without access to air. Once fully cured, it gains high strength and durability. The bonded joint is transparent after complete curing, making the adhesive suitable for visible joints.
