Loctite 5400 is designed for sealing pipes and threads. It seals water, gas, and other systems containing liquids, compressed air, and propane-butane. It does not extrude, shrink, or clog the system with released particles. Disassembly can be easily performed using common tools. The product cures without air access in the joint between bonded metal surfaces and prevents the release or leakage of joints caused by vibrations and shocks.
