Description

The flat gasket is used wherever it is necessary to perfectly seal metal parts or flange surfaces to prevent the leakage of liquids or gases. Loctite 574 – 50ml represents a universal flat gasket that cures in the gap between bonded metal surfaces without access to air. Once cured, it perfectly seals the gap and prevents the leakage of substances. It is thus an ideal sealant for rigid metal parts, such as pump housings and other equipment. Immediately after application and joining both surfaces, Loctite 574 – 50ml withstands low pressure. The processing and application of the flat gasket is really simple, and due to its thixotropic nature, it does not run off the application site.
