Thermally conductive adhesives generally have a relatively narrow range of applications, and this is also the case with Loctite EA 9497. The two-component epoxy adhesive Loctite EA 9497 can be used wherever you want to dissipate heat, or in environments with high temperatures, as it withstands temperatures up to 180 °C. It is suitable for bonding and filling joints in direct contact with this temperature. Its high thermal conductivity and resistance, as well as high compressive strength, make the adhesive ideal for repairs of hot water pipes, steam pipes, and similar applications. Handling during bonding is very good, thanks to its medium viscosity, the adhesive does not unnecessarily drip from the bonded parts.
