Description
Loctite SI 5699 is a special high-performance oil-resistant gasket based on silicone. We recommend using it wherever the gasket is in constant contact with water or glycol. It perfectly seals metal, plastic, or painted parts, creating a thin tight joint that prevents the leakage or intrusion of liquids while also preventing direct contact between flange surfaces, thus avoiding contact corrosion. Typical applications for Loctite SI 5699 gasket include gearboxes or engine covers. Once cured, the gasket is highly resistant to fluids and heat up to 200 °C, remains stable, and achieves good longevity.
