- Usage: Lubricant and preservative used in industrial sectors working with rubber and plastics. It is used, for example, for parts that need to fit together quickly and easily, in difficult release situations such as battery housings. It is also used as a release agent for epoxy resins, polystyrenes, PVC, polyesters, and other plastic materials. In foundries, it is primarily used when engaging new or freshly cleaned molds or on core molds. It finds application in various other industrial sectors, where it is used as a release agent for TNT (trinitrotoluene), rocket propellants, warheads, and other parts of extrusion presses. It is also used as a separating agent in tile production.
- Properties: Stability when heated, withstands temperatures during pressing up to +200°C. Due to its stability when heated and resistance to oxidation, it minimizes mold fouling, effective even in small amounts, inert to metals, most plastics, and organic materials, insoluble in water, methanol, ethanol, glycerol, and mineral oil.
