COPASLIP is specially designed to protect against seizing or jamming of structural joints placed in extreme temperature and pressure conditions. It also protects against rust, oxidation, and corrosion. The protection against the hardening of joints results in reduced costs for maintenance work in cases of occasional maintenance or disassembly.

COPASLIP contains micro-particles of copper and finely dispersed lead in a metallic form, stored in a non-melting "bentonite" grease base. In the alternative, lead-free product, the lead particles are replaced with a synthetic lubricant - polybutene. Copper and lead are the basic elements that prevent seizing and "sintering". Highly effective inhibitors that prevent oxidation and corrosion are added to them. Copper and lead create a matrix that fills small surface irregularities where COPASLIP is applied. This matrix never hardens, dissolves, or is disrupted by vibrations, contraction, or expansion.

The unique combination of properties of COPASLIP ensures quick and easy assembly of screws. It allows the use of the correct tightening torque with limited thread friction. COPASLIP limits seizing and jamming and guarantees easy and quick release of screws, seals, and covers even after long-term exposure to high temperatures, corrosive conditions, and extreme surface pressures. It also reduces wear in high-friction areas.

The paste can be applied using a spatula or brush directly onto the treated parts. In aerosol form, it can also be sprayed directly onto the treated surface. The solvent evaporates, leaving a layer of fully functional COPASLIP.
